Lazy Palms Ranch 55+ RV Resort
I spent a week in March 2025 at the Lazy Palms Ranch RV Resort. This 55+ community is 20 miles north of central Edinburg, Texas. While camping, I met quite a few friendly folks my age. They were quite happy to escape the cold Winter weather of America's northern states and Canada. I observed them playing cards, bingo, grilling, sleeping, swimming, and figuring out puzzles. Many had bicycles (often electric) and carts to cruise the campground. The closest major grocery stores and shopping centers were in Edinburg and Raymondville. To pass ther time, I drove to Mexico, McAllen, and the South Padre Islands. Fun times for this old photographer. The images were captured on my vintage Nikon D800 with a 50mm f/1.4 lens.
